Fresh Air has its roots here at WBFO. Terry Gross attended the University at Buffalo in the early 1970s, and worked on the WBFO programs Woman Power and This Is Radio. After Terry graduated from UB, she moved to Philadelphia, and began working at NPR member station WHYY in 1975.
